Peter Berlin may have some knowledge of DASPO. After AFVN Quang Tri, he worked at SEAPAC, the Southeast Asia Pictorial Cener, the pentagon's photo arm. Perhaps he encountered some of the DASPO folks.

This was in the Stars & Stripes for today. Some of their educaitonal films might well have qualified for airing on AFVN.

Sorry, I didn't really complete my message---
I know that there is information about DASPO on the web. However, did DASPO and AFVN ever collaborate or even talk to each other? To put it another way, did any of you ever hear of DASPO when you were with AFVN? If so, then I will add some information and links. If not, I won't.

DASPO Teams
The following was taken from Facebook in September 2017.
In 1962 the first DASPO team landed in Saigon found a hotel started working out of it. They traveled all over Vietnam documenting our advisors to the South Vietnamese Military. The footage they shot was used to train new advisors. Jerry Cornelius was the first DASPO cameraman to be seriously wounded: many others followed, some being wounded twice. The DASPO teams were never attached to any specific units in Vietnam. Our first team led the way.

Jim...
DASPO was active in Saigon, and had a pretty nice villa for its headquarters.
I recall that at least a handful of us AFVNers hung out on occasion with them, and several times got assistance with equipment problems. To my recollection, there was no official interface between AFVN and DASPO.
