If Guam doesn’t pan out, they are going to resurrect the Navy Base at Papua New Guinea.
Might be a bunch of job openings there.

Steve: My first Father-in-law was an Army veteran of WWII. He was in New Guinea supervising work crews and had established enough of a rapport with them to ask personal questions. He once asked if it was true that members of his crew were still cannibals and apparently looked distressed when he learned the crew told him that it was true. One of them quickly filled in to save George’s honor, I guess. George said the man told him “We only eat yellow men (Japanese soldiers). White men taste better, but yellow men are mean.

New Guinea? Would I have to wear a bone through my nose? That would be one hell of a fashion accessory.

Does anyone know anything about the supposed job opening with Armed Forces Broadcasting as a senior broadcast producer on Guam?
My wife is interested in knowing if they would offer me a good dental plan and whether I would have to wear a grass skirt.
This would put us in close proximity to choice vacation spots such as Tuvalu, Kiribati and Vanuatu.
