I knew John Anderson personally.   He was my NCOIC at AFKN-Radio Gypsy, at Camp Kaiser, Korea.   Good man.   Died too young.

Remembering Det 5 -- today in history -- 1968 --
Detachment 5 AFVN Hue was overun. 
After a fierce firefight AFVN'ers - both military and civilians -- died.
Others were taken prisoner and held till the end of the war.
It's a good day to remember these fine people.
