Would it be a good idea for someone with the know how to issue a press release to the Memphis media (news, radio, tv) informing them of our reunion; I’m pretty sure some of our members were information officers, etc and would know best how to do this.

As of now we have 40 people scheduled for the buffet and 33 for the tours.
Did I miss anyone? I wouldn’t be surprised, given my encroaching CRS. Please let me know.
These are the names of others who are coming but have not sent me their registration paperwork:
Kelsey Ann (Army special services -- can’t wait to hear that side of the story)
Noel Chris (she’s bringing copies of her book)
Smith Stephen (he’s bringing a passel of AFVN slides -- 250 in the show!)
Watts Holley (she’s bringing her production piece)
And of course, there is never a list complete without the folks whom we hope to see:
Roger Carroll (incredibly talented, incredibly handsome, still able to leap tall buildings)
Preston Cluff (now, about those production pieces …)
Adrian Cronauer (wouldn’t it be great to hear him talk about his work tracking down MIAs?)
Don Dornberg (is it true you guys had to do burn barrel duty?)
Ken Gilder (did you really head to Qui Nhon when you heard I was going to work in Saigon?)
Dave Koseruba (is that dead air I hear?)
Jay Lehman and family (are the grandkids for sale? Mine are.)
Frank Rogers (will you help Dickie dispense the Dickel?)
Pat Sajak (we need to get the name of his doctor -- no one as old as us should look that good!)
Guy Slater (should I bring Oscar to hug on your wife?)
Nancy Steinbec k (did anyone tell you we enjoyed your company in Indianapolis?)
Jerry Webb (you are coming, aren’t you?)
Cedric Williams (we look forward to your teaching us how to play Ku)
Dennis Woytec (the man, the voice, the legend!)
I am still hoping to see a few more of us registering. The more the merrier.
And while I’m on the topic of more and merry, our assistance fund has made it possible for four people to join us who would not have been able to do so were it not for the good hearts among us. Remember, if you could use a little help please send a message to ken@carmabiz.com or call me at 612-819-5823.
Who so ever will may come.

Hi all. Long time no post!
Hoping to see some familiar faces in Memphis and trying to find the most recently updated list of attendees. Mike & Peg Sullivan and Gary & Virgie Brill are looking forward to seeing everyone. Bringing a bunch of CD's with pix of Saigon facilities to hand out - would love to know how many of you are registered so far...

Crew:
Right now I know that Nancy Smoyer, Ann Kelsey, and Holley Watts will be with us, and I have a new name for the reunion: Stephen Smith!
Here’s what he said in his message to me: “Stephen H. Smith , Radio-TV Engineer, Da Nang-Nha Trang 1970“ (Vietnam May 1968 - June 1970)
“If the group is interested, I have several hundred slides of the AFVN facilities in Saigon, Nha Trang, Da Nang and Pleiku that I could present, either as film originals (i.e. retro presentation with a Kodak Carousel projector), or as electronic images with a contemporary video projector.”
And the hits just keep on rolling in!
I will post a new list tomorrow morning.
Who so ever will may come.

We could still use a few more bodies at the reunion. The full set of CDs will be there. [See Group Conversation on More of Our Voices.] The reunion price on hotel rooms is still good. I see that the CD recap is bring a few lurkers out of the shadows, and that’s great. Can we convince some of you shadow dwellers to join us? www.carmabiz.com and 612-819-5823.

Just a reminder, there is a fire and ambulance station across the street from the hotel. When I hosted the 1999 Gamewardens convention in Minneapolis we had two members who needed help. One suffered a heart attack while checking out and one had a choking incident during the dinner. Both received help within minutes -- less than five -- because I had picked a hotel one block from a fire station.
